Alsana- Provides weekly online meetings Fridays at noon, PST (2PM CST & 3PM EST). Weekly family support meeting Thursdays at noon, PST (2PM CST & 3PM EST). Alsana is an Eating Recovery Center and we believe healing happens in relationships. This group is educational in nature and provides participants with an online community in which they can receive support and encouragement from the facilitator as well as peers. All are welcome and we would love to have you join us. This group is not a replacement for therapy.
ANAD Support Groups- ANAD’s eating disorder support groups provide a free, virtual space where people can come together and find community in recovery. Support groups are often the first step for people who struggle with eating disorders. Our support groups are for people with personal lived experiences with an eating disorder. This is a free, peer-led support service where those without access to other resources can attend and connect with others.
The Eating Disorder Foundation- EDF groups are at the heart of the EDF program, providing safe places for those with eating disorders and their families to grow and learn from one another. These groups not only have helped many who are touched by eating disorders, but also have served as a springboard from which lasting, supportive friendships have grown. Groups are facilitated by volunteer counselors and master’s level practicum students. They are there to keep the conversation safe and inclusive. Groups vary in size because they are drop-ins, but are usually around 5-25 people depending on the group. You will not be forced to participate in the groups, but we hope you will feel EDF is a safe place to share your thoughts and feelings. Groups are accessible to all, regardless of your struggle or diagnosis. This is not group therapy, but rather a place to get support and build community.
Liberating Jasper- Offers low-cost support groups for those struggling with an eating disorder.
MEDA (Multi-Service Eating Disorders Association) – MEDA Support groups can be an important part of the outpatient treatment process. They are a structured place to build community with a shared goal of full recovery from an eating disorder or disordered eating. MEDA is currently in-network with some insurance companies, please inquire if you are interested in using insurance. We are able to also provide a receipt for insurance reimbursement.
