OEDA’s Junior Board is a program designed to promote a philanthropic spirit, leadership and advocates in the field of eating disorders among high school and college students in our state. Our Junior Board Members assist OEDA through raising awareness on high school and college campuses.
This leadership program provides the opportunity for students to gain real-world experience in public speaking and community outreach, build their resumes, and learn about nonprofit organizations.
Our Mission: Oklahoma Eating Disorders Junior Board is dedicated to the prevention of disordered eating, eating disorders, and negative body image by raising awareness, providing education, and helping members become liaisons to their schools across the state of Oklahoma.
Apply now to be a part of this incredible leadership and advocacy opportunity!
“The OEDA Junior Board is important because it is empowering teenagers to spread awareness and make a difference in an area that affects so many people, especially our own age.”
– Paige Miles, past Junior Board Member
